Only 30% reported having "experimented with it a few times," while a mere 10% stated they had considered it but not yet implemented it. Notably, zero respondents claimed to be using AI regularly.

This snapshot, though based on a small sample, underscores a significant technological chasm within the cycling retail sector. While other industries are rapidly integrating AI for inventory management, customer service, and predictive analytics, the majority of cycling retailers appear to be either unaware of its potential or resistant to its exploration. This inertia could leave them at a competitive disadvantage as larger, more technologically advanced competitors or online platforms continue to optimize operations and personalize customer experiences.

The numbers speak volumes: the cycling retail industry, it seems, is still firmly in the analogue age when it comes to embracing the future of business efficiency.
